About Friends of Beverly Animals

Friends of Beverly Animals (FOBA) has successfully provided care, food, and medical attention to countless homeless animals. Our dedicated volunteers have rehomed numerous cats and helped educate the community about the importance of animal welfare.

FOBA has fostered hundreds of cats, provided essential veterinary services, and enhanced community awareness about abandoned animals, making a tangible difference in our local area.

FOBA has been fortunate to receive grants from Mass License Plate in 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026; and also from PetCo Unleashed..

FOBA is the proud recipient of the 2026 ASPCA grant!

Our Journey of Compassion

Founded by passionate volunteers, Friends of Beverly Animals has grown from a small initiative into a vital organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for homeless animals since its inception.

Year 2010

In 2010, Friends of Beverly Animals was established, focusing on addressing the needs of homeless animals in Beverly and its surrounding areas.

Year 2012

In 2012, FOBA launched its first community education program aimed at raising awareness about animal abandonment and responsible pet ownership.

Year 2015

By 2015, FOBA successfully placed over 100 cats in loving homes, marking a significant milestone in our mission to reduce homelessness among animals.

Year 2019

In 2019, we celebrated our 10th anniversary, reflecting on a decade of dedicated service and impact in the Beverly community.
